On February 20 in the Hermitage, Blue bedroom of the Winter Palace the exhibition “Imaginations in threads has opened. Lace and glass of Western Europe of the 16-19th centuries” which for the first time shows and originally connects together works only of two types of applied art of Western Europe of the 16-19th centuries, absolutely polar and, apparently, incompatible – lace and glass.
