Skolkovo Innovation Center

The Skolkovo Innovation Center is a high technology business area that is being built at Mozhaysky District in Moscow, Russia. Although historically Russia has been successful with development of science and technology, its lack of entrepreneur spirit led to government intervention of patents and nonproliferation of Russian tech companies beyond the scope of regional service. As corporations and individuals become “residents” of the city, with proposed projects and ideas receiving financial assistance. Skolkovo was first announced on 12 November 2009 by then Russian President. The complex is headed by Viktor Vekselberg and co-chaired by former Intel CEO Craig Barrett.

Option 1:
Excursion to the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. (1-1.5 hours). The history of the creation of the first international school.

Option 2:
The Skolkovo Technopark research complex conducts excursions for all who wish to learn more about how Skolkovo start-ups are developing on one of the largest innovative sites in the world. Children and adults will get acquainted with such notions as innovation, start-up, hackspace, co-working, cluster, smart home, Internet of things, etc. Also, tourists will get acquainted with clusters that unite residents of Skolkovo Technopark. At the Technopark site, science and business become a single whole, a unique ecosystem is being formed here, which in the shortest possible time allows for innovative projects to be brought to a new level: offices and laboratories, community centers and coworking zones, hackspace, café, restaurant, cultural sites. – mass and scientific events, a conference center, as well as a store where you can buy goods produced by Skolkovo project participants. And all this, combined under one roof, makes the Technopark not only a place of work, but also a center of attraction for the entire innovation center of Skolkovo. The tour program also includes a visit to one or two start-up offices with a detailed story about the projects. For visitors who wish to enter technical colleges and become engineers, biologists, inventors, and innovators, such a tour will be especially useful.
